FFRAF's Commitment to Well-being and Inclusion
Foundation for Renewal and Fora (FFRAF), is a registered charitable organisation number 298324. It aims to address welfare needs of East African migrant communities and refugees access better and timely services as they re-establish themselves in the new host community who very often face hurdles in the settlement process. The majority of the clients are now settled in the UK with citizenship and/or indefinite Leave to remain.
Our interest client base is that living with long term chronic illnesses and on low incomes. The organisation is working towards the reduction in levels of undiagnosed chronic illnesses among the hard to reach African communities.
A core business of the organisation is the provision of information about services that can be accessed, advice and support to obtain services, referrals to other relevant agencies, interpreting and advocacy and campaign to highlight destitution and gaps in service provision and the negativity surrounding migrants.
